The goal of the Together fund is for all individuals, regardless of disability, age, or the use of unconventional technologies to access the web, to be able to navigate the pages of this website without encountering access difficulties—in other words, to enjoy accessibility to our community's page.
At this end, the development of Together fund's website has been based on the compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
Some of the functionalities implemented on Together's website to make all web content more accessible are:
• Font sizes have been defined using relative units, allowing users to enlarge or reduce the font size through browser options.
• There is a link available to select a high-contrast color palette.
• The pages have a clear structure both for users who can view all the content and for those using a screen reader.
After these common elements throughout the website, the specific content of the page is displayed.
The different sections are marked as section headings, allowing users of screen readers with voice synthesis to easily navigate through the sections by pressing the "H" key or tab.
• The HTML and CSS code used adheres to formal standards to ensure correct display of content across different browsers.
